Nova Scotia Nominee Program

Nova Scotia immigration ranks among the top three and is quite popular. The number of job opportunities is growing quickly and there is a great demand for skilled professionals in the province. For service-industry professionals who want to move to Canada, Nova Scotia might be the best place to immigrate.

Major Immigration pathways in NSNP:
·      Skilled Worker stream: NSNP accepts applicants under this stream based on the individuals who receive a job offer from a Nova Scotia employer. Skilled, Semi-skilled and lower-skilled workers may be eligible to apply.

·       Nova Scotia Demand – Express Entry stream: This stream is for highly skilled individuals with a post-secondary qualification and education that helps them to settle in Nova Scotia. This is the occupation in demand category and is based on the NOC job categories. Applicants whose profession falls in NOC 0, A or B should be eligible to apply through the category.

·       Nova Scotia Experience – Express Entry stream: This NSNP stream provides a pathway to permanent residence for highly skilled applicants who have worked for a Nova Scotia employer for at least one year.

·       Entrepreneur stream: The NSNP stream is designed to attract individuals who wish to start or acquire a business and settle permanently in Nova Scotia.

·      International Graduate Entrepreneur stream: The NSNP Stream is open to graduates who have completed at least 2 years of full-time study from a Nova Scotia university or Nova Scotia community college or have operated their own business in Nova Scotia for at least 1 year.

All immigration pathways in NSNP have their own perquisites for eligibility. It is recommended to seek the help of a Canada PR consultant to know about specific immigration queries and needs. There are a number of general requirements that one needs to meet. They are:
